- 1995 Audit estimated the cost of CPHP was $42 per hunter trip or $1.3 Million to run the 3 WPCs (including staff, habitat development, maintenance and operational costs such as feed).
- In 1994, the Conservation Congress Outdoor Recreation Committee recommended "...the daily usage fee be increased to reflect production costs, but not to exceed $20 by 1996 or $25 by the year 2000."
